Maui Sunset offers a larger condominium resort pool compared to nearby hotels, plus a heated jacuzzi and a sauna. The L-shaped outdoor swimming pool has a shallow end and a pool with a view, surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas. Six tennis courts, a putting green, pickleball, and bocce ball are available on the property, along with 8 gas grills for guest use.

Each tropically themed apartment has a full kitchen, a private balcony, and a washer and dryer inside the unit. Units include a queen bed in the master, a queen hide-a-bed in the living room, and a twin Murphy bed opposite the kitchen. A split bathroom design offers two sinks and two toilets in some apartments.

The property sits directly on Waipuilani Beach and is 1.7 miles from Elleair Maui Golf Club. Maui Nui Botanical Gardens is a 20-minute drive away, and world-famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are within minutes by car. Azeka Shopping Center with grocery stores and restaurants is a short drive from the resort.
